On October 1, 2023, we celebrated a significant milestone with the official inauguration of Mercedes-Benz Consulting Services Indonesia (MBCSI). This event marked not just the start of our operations but the beginning of an exciting new chapter in our journey. The inauguration commenced with the unveiling of our company’s signage at the front of our office, a symbolic gesture of our commitment to excellence and a forward-thinking approach.

The event reached its peak with the signing of the Inauguration Plate by our esteemed Board of Directors, including President Director Nileshkumar Shimpi, Finance Director Susanto, and HR Director Nieta Ekawati. This signing represented a formal declaration of our unified vision, shared goals, and a solid foundation for MBCSI’s future endeavors. It was more than just a ceremony; it laid the groundwork for a strong start, setting the tone for the positive trajectory we envision.

The inauguration wasn’t merely a celebration but a key part of our strategy to instill confidence among our team and stakeholders. It reinforced our shared purpose, fostering an engaging, collaborative, and dynamic work environment that aligns everyone with our mission. As we look ahead, the inauguration stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence, marking the beginning of an inspiring journey toward collective success.

Kartini Day (Indonesian National Women’s Day)

Kartini Day, celebrated annually on April 21, honors the life and legacy of Raden Adjeng Kartini, a pioneer for women’s rights and education in Indonesia. Officially established in 1964 by Indonesia’s first president, Sukarno, this holiday marks Kartini’s birthday and reflects her deep commitment to the emancipation of women. Fondly referred to as Ibu Kartini (Mother Kartini), she remains a symbol of progress and empowerment. Kartini Day is not just a historical remembrance but an active celebration of the strides toward gender equality that Kartini envisioned for future generations.

The spirit of Kartini can be likened to that of Bertha Benz, who made history with her daring journey, the first long-distance drive in an automobile, to showcase the capabilities and independence of women. Her journey was more than just a test of her husband’s invention; it was a bold statement against the societal norms of her time. Facing skepticism and criticism, Bertha’s determination and innovative spirit ultimately validated the practicality of the Motorwagen, contributing significantly to the burgeoning automotive industry. Her efforts not only advanced the legacy of Karl Benz’s invention but also became a symbol of women breaking barriers and asserting their independence, inspiring future generations to pursue their aspirations.

In honoring the legacies of both Kartini and Bertha Benz during Indonesian National Women’s Day, we came together to celebrate female empowerment through various artistic expressions. MBCSI ladies have shared inspiring poems and quotes that resonate with the ideals of strength, resilience, and solidarity.

These literary contributions serve as a source of motivation, encouraging one another to embrace their potential and strive for excellence. By lifting each other up through the power of words, we continue the important work of promoting gender equality and empowering women, ensuring that the spirits of Kartini and Bertha Benz live on in our collective journey toward a more equitable future.

Independence Day Celebration at MBCSI

To celebrate Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day, normally in Indonesia we do the traditional competition such as sack race & areca nut climbing. Therefore, based on that we organized a lively sports competition known as the MBCSI Olympic 2024. This event featured a variety of exciting activities, including badminton, table tennis, futsal, marathon races, and traditional games. Employees participated enthusiastically, making the competition both challenging and fun, with each game showcasing the spirit of teamwork, friendly rivalry, and camaraderie. The inclusion of traditional games also added a cultural touch, fostering appreciation for Indonesia’s heritage while creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.

The primary goal of the MBCSI Olympic 2024 was to strengthen employee engagement and build meaningful social connections within the organization. By promoting teamwork and collaboration through sports, the event encouraged interaction across different departments and nurtured a sense of unity. Additionally, the focus on physical activities emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle, motivating employees to prioritize fitness and well-being. Events like these not only boost morale but also help create a positive workplace culture where employees feel connected, energized, and appreciated.

Celebrating Diversity Day at MBCSI: Embracing Culture and Unity

On June 28, 2024, Mercedes-Benz Consulting Services Indonesia (MBCSI) proudly celebrated Diversity Day, an event that perfectly reflected our commitment to inclusivity and cultural appreciation. Aligned with Mercedes-Benz’s Annual Diversity Day, this celebration aimed to create awareness among leaders and employees, encouraging new perspectives and highlighting the benefits of Diversity & Inclusion Management across the organization.

The event was a colorful showcase of Indonesia’s rich traditions, customs, and heritage. Employees enthusiastically donned traditional attire representing different regions, transforming the workplace into a vibrant mosaic of cultural expression and unity. The highlight of the day was a delightful culinary exploration, where employees shared traditional dishes from various provinces, allowing everyone to savor the flavors and culinary traditions unique to Indonesia.

Diversity Day not only emphasized the importance of diversity within MBCSI but also fostered a sense of community and belonging. It reinforced our commitment to a more inclusive, respectful, and harmonious work environment where every culture is valued. As we continue to move forward, events like these serve as a testament to our dedication to embracing and celebrating diversity.

“Sharing is Caring” Donation Box

In celebration of MBCSI’s 1st Anniversary, which took place on October 1, 2024, we sought to extend our gratitude by sharing kindness with less privilege children. Marking this milestone, we partnered with a local NGO based in Depok, West Java, that is dedicated to supporting homeless children. Our goal was not only to commemorate our anniversary but also to make a meaningful contribution to the community by helping those in need, especially children who face challenges in accessing education and essential resources.

Through this collaboration, we gathered goods and funds aimed at providing school supplies, such as books, backpacks, and stationery. These essential items play a crucial role in equipping the children for academic success and fostering their enthusiasm for learning. Beyond meeting practical needs, our initiative symbolizes hope, demonstrating that every small gesture can make a meaningful difference in their journey toward a brighter future. With proper tools for their education, we aim to inspire the children to pursue their dreams confidently and ambitiously.

We believe that empowering children through education is one of the most impactful ways to create lasting change. By contributing to their educational journey, we hope to ignite their passion for learning and show them that they are not alone in their struggles. As we celebrate this special occasion for MBCSI, we are reminded that the spirit of community and kindness is at the heart of who we are. Together, we can help shape a future where every child, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to achieve their dreams.
